The world’s largest singular collection of works by the late artist Florian Gawurtsdym is on loan from the Museum of Institutional Ephemera (MOIE) to the Museum of Distended Anamnesis (MODistA) for temporary exhibition from May 2 – June 25, 2024.
The collection entitled “My Haunted Basement” is comprised entirely of dioramas and architectural models primarily constructed from wood, brass, acrylic, and diecast metal during a prodigious period of creativity from 1978-2005, chronicling the start of a long and otherwise undocumented personal decent.
Members and Friends of MOIE qualify for discounted admission. Contact MODistA for more details.
